*No need to spend time travelling to see a therapist
*People may feel more comfortable in their own surroundings
*It can be of tremendous benefit if you are unable to leave your home for any reason, e.g, disability, illness, lack of time.
*Cash payments or bank transfers are acceptable for home visits
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where can I be treated?
A. People usually prefer to lie down on their sofa. Heavily pregnant ladies will need to sit upright or be only slightly reclined with their feet on a foot stool.
Q. Do /i need to supply anything?
A. A pillow would be helpful to supply to make you more comfortable. But, I will bring the rest! Oils or balms, calming music and of course a lot of healing reflexology!
What if someone else in my house would like a treatment on the same day?
A. This shouldn't be a problem at all unless I have another client booked after your session, your family member or friend is more than welcome to have a treatment after you.
Q. Can I stay in bed afterwards?
A. That's exactly why I come to your home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.Will it hurt?
A. Some areas of the feet may feel more tender than others and slight discomfort could be felt. I do not believe reflexology needs to be painful to work. Just tell me if you feel pain and I can back off the pressure.
Q. I'm ticklish. Is that a problem?
A. The pressure used isn't a feather light touch. It is firm but gentle where it needs to be. I have had people come to me with ticklish feet but have all enjoyed the treatment.
Q. I don't think I like reflexology. With a different therapist it was painful.
A. Reflexologists have all learned and honed their craft differently. Some believe in going in deep and others could work lightly and more energetically. In either case you just need to find the right therapist for you. My advice is not to give up after just one experience.
Q. How will I feel afterwards?
A. This varies from person to person and the state of their health. People can experience some after effects such as, slight head ache, thirst, sleepiness but this is just your body working to come into balance. The most important thing is not to worry about an after effect, just listen to what your body needs and take its advice! More often than not, after a treatment you will feel utterly relaxed or even energised depending on the type of treatment you are after.
Q. Can I drink alcohol afterwards?
A. I do not advise any alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours after your reflexology treatment. Your body will be releasing and balancing for a while afterwards so any stimulants taken is not advisable.
Q. I don't like the way my feet look. It's embarrassing
A. The people who come to see me have often apologised for their feet. If I were at all squeamish about feet, believe me I would not be in my profession. We reflexologists love feet! They are amazing and fascinating structures which tell us a great story about you as an individual. So do not worry.....in my therapy room the lights will be dimmed anyway (if that makes a difference)
Q. Can I drive home afterwards or go out?
A. After your treatment you may feel sleepy. If it is possible at all, try to find another mode of transport to and from your therapy.
As for going, people react differently. Some will want to just climb into bed after and some will feel energised enough to carry on with their day. Listen to your body and you'll do what feels right in the moment.
Q. What if I get emotional during or afterwards?
A. It is perfectly natural to feel this way. Reflexology is all about balancing the entire person. Anything we are holding onto can be released once we are relaxed. Rest assured you will be in a safe and caring environment where if you feel weepy then just cry! There's no judgment here :)
Q. Will you keep my information confidential?
A. Yes. Everything discussed in my therpay room is between you and I. I keep all your information safe and locked away.
